Composition of the Higher Commission for Human Rights

 

In accordance with the First Article of the Ministerial Decree No.(104) for the year 2008, "The Higher Commission for Human Rights" was composed as follows:

1.     His Excellency the Minister of Justice (Chairman)

2.     A counselor delegated by The Supreme Judicial Council (Deputy-Chairman).

3.      Assistant-Undersecretary of Ministry of Justice (MOJ) for International Relations Affairs (Member and the Rapporteur)

4.     A representative of public prosecution whose position is chief prosecutor (Member).

5.     A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with degree of a counselor. (Member)

6.     A representative of the Ministry of Interior whose degree not less than assistant-undersecretary of state. (Member). 

7.     A representative of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor whose degree not less than assistant-undersecretary of state. (Member).

8.     A representative of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education whose degree not less than assistant-undersecretary of state. (Member).

9.     A representative of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs whose degree not less than assistant-undersecretary of state. (Member).

10.  A representative of Faculty of Law- University of Kuwait whose degree not less than assistant professor (Member).
