MOJ issues 2011 statistical yearbook of judicial achievements

      Department of Statistics & Researches at the Ministry of Justice “MOJ” has eventually issued its statistical yearbook including the achievements made by the judicial system and the assistant bodies thereto and setting in figures and statistical indicators any achievements made by courts and MOJ’s sectors during the year of 2011.
In a press release, the Director of Department of Statistics and Researches at MOJ Heba Abdel Galeel stated that the said yearbook consists of 15 chapters each of which including three parts: the first part indicates the courts, the second deals with cases at bar and the third is devoted to res judicata with its various types. She added that the book indicates also the achievements of the Public Prosecution with its different branches and jurisdictions as well as MOJ’s different sectors such as sectors of Experts, Arbitration, Execution, Real Estate Registration and Authentication, Information Technology, Legal Authentications and Familial Consultations. Moreover, she pointed out, the yearbook displays these achievements in statistical tables associated with statistical analysis for the data and finding out any statistical indications to be ready for those decision-makers in order to use them in proper planning and taking proper decisions.
She hailed the employees of the Statistics Dept. who have contributed to issue this yearbook after collecting statistical information and data from different judicial sectors which have been covered by this encyclopedic work. She underlined also her aspiration to make this yearbook available to all nationally or internationally competent authorities concerned with statistical analysis including mass media.
